Following the successful completion of a management buyout (MBO) in January 2026, which Broadfield’s legal team had the pleasure of advising on, Ama Capital, an independent investment firm, instructed us on a new matter. This time round, Partners Sarah Souter and Mark Metcalfe, along with Senior Associates Anisha Grewal, and Chris Greep, as well as a wider deal team, advised our client on their latest MBO of Ivy House, a Godalming-based leadership consultancy.
The strategic investment led by Ama Capital alongside Zachary Asset Holdings enables expansion of their offering and further growth in the UK and overseas. To mark this important milestone further, the completion of the MBO sees Adrian Moorhouse MBE, British Olympic swimmer, join the board of Ivy House as its Chair.
"We believe the business has the whole package, led by a great up-and-coming team... Combining their talent and knowledge of the sector with the operational experience that we can bring is exactly the reason why we created Ama Capital."

“We are delighted to have supported Ama Capital on another successful MBO and to have continued our relationship with the team. Repeat instructions are a strong testament to the trust our clients place in us, and we are pleased to have once again brought our private equity expertise to bear on a strategically important deal.”
