Broadfield has expanded its global footprint and capabilities by establishing a presence in Latin America. The São Paulo location embodies Broadfield’s strategy to provide world-class legal advice with local expertise, cross-border coordination, and rational pricing powered by cutting-edge technology. This office serves clients with interests in Brazil and Latin America and offers local companies, entrepreneurs, funds, and family enterprises access to Broadfield’s expanding international platform.
Broadfield Brazil was formed in partnership with IW Melcheds, a Brazilian law firm recognized for its work in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, compliance, tax, litigation, and other key areas of business law. The firm is recognized in Brazil and internationally by leading legal publications and rankings, including Chambers and Partners, The Legal 500, Latin Lawyer, LACCA, Who’s Who Legal, Best Lawyers, Leaders League, and Análise Advocacia.
Expansion into Brazil follows Broadfield’s launch in December 2024 and subsequent growth across the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, and the United States. Broadfield’s model separates the practice of law from many of the operational demands of running a law firm. SHP Legal Services, an A&M Inc. affiliate, allows Broadfield to incorporate Alvarez & Marsal’s advisory capabilities while remaining an independent, partner-owned law firm. With Alvarez & Marsal’s strong presence in Brazil, Broadfield and IW Melcheds offer clients a cohesive action plan spanning legal, tax, regulatory, and operational considerations.
Partner-led judgment. Institutional quality service. Modern infrastructure. Rational pricing.
Working in association with Broadfield provides our clients with a more robust cross-border framework while enabling us to continue delivering practical, technically rigorous advice in Brazil, complemented by the innovative modern delivery that Broadfield offers.
