About

Eleanor Stark is a Legal Director in Broadfield’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution team. Her practice encompasses the full spectrum of property litigation matters advising a wide ranging of clients from institutional investors, pension funds, developers and high net worth individuals, acting for both landlord and tenants.

She specialises in dilapidations issues, vacant possession strategies, the modification and discharge of restrictive covenants, development and contractual disputes, and opposed residential issues for high-net-worth clients and unopposed renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954.

Eleanor also handles property related negligence matters. Alternative dispute resolution, and problem solving to avoid court proceedings, is at the heart of Eleanor’s practice, seeking creative solutions for clients. Eleanor has also acted on multi-jurisdictional disputes with significant trusts element in high profile High Court litigation including for the defendants in Morina & Ors v Scherbakova & Ors, and the successful defendant in Invest Bank P.S.C. -v- El Husseini & Ors which now a leading case in relation to s.423 of the Insolvency Act 1986.

Eleanor is a member of the Property Litigation Association.
