Elise Sherwell is a Senior Associate in Broadfield’s Real Estate team. She advises institutional and private investors on acquisitions, disposals, and asset management; retail and consumer brands on multi-site portfolio transactions; and commercial landlords and developers on leasing, regeneration, and mixed-use schemes. Elise is known for delivering commercially astute, pragmatic advice that keeps transactions moving.
Before qualifying as a solicitor, Elise was a professional athlete with the British Rowing Team. She competed in three Olympic Games, winning bronze medals at Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008, and collected multiple medals at World Championships and World Cups. The discipline, resilience, and strategic thinking developed at the highest level of international sport now underpin her approach to complex real estate matters.
Elise is a Steward of Henley Royal Regatta, a Freeman of the City of London, and a member of the Worshipful Company of Watermen and Lightermen.
