Gustavo Alberto Rached Taiar’s practices focuses on corporate law, M&A, private equity, venture capital, investment funds, structured finance, and project finance. He has extensive experience advising private and institutional investors, foreign clients, multinational corporations, and Brazilian companies of all sizes on complex domestic and cross-border transactions.

His practice combines strong legal expertise with an entrepreneurial mindset, with particular focus on transactions in the energy, technology, financial markets, and agribusiness sectors. He regularly leads buy-side and sell-side M&A processes, corporate structurings, joint ventures, private capital raisings, and structured financings, consistently targeting the delivery of commercial solutions aligned with his clients’ strategic objectives.

Before joining the firm, Gustavo spent 10 years as an attorney at a leading full-service law firm in São Paulo and eight years as an attorney and partner at another major full-service law firm in São Paulo. He gained international experience as a foreign associate at a U.S. law firm in New York, where he developed deep familiarity with Anglo-American practice standards and the execution of cross-border transactions.
