Jason Kenner serves as Counsel at Broadfield and as a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Tax in New York, where he works in A&M’s Global Trade and Customs practice. He advises clients on customs and international trade matters, drawing on nearly two decades of experience in government service and private practice.
Jason works with companies across a range of industries, including apparel, automotive, and agriculture. His practice focuses on tariff classification, country of origin, valuation, compliance, customs-related disputes, and penalty matters. He has particular experience with matters before U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the Court of International Trade, and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Before joining A&M, Jason served as Head of Litigation at Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg P.A., a New York-based customs and international trade law firm. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly 15 years at the U.S. Department of Justice’s International Trade Field Office, where he served as lead counsel for U.S. Customs and Border Protection in dozens of cases before the Court of International Trade and the Federal Circuit. He also worked extensively with the Trade Fraud Task Force.
Jason serves on the Board of the Customs and International Trade Bar Association.
