Jorge Gutiérrez Chamlati

Jorge Gutiérrez Chamlati has extensive experience in corporate law and M&A. He graduated in 1992 in Mexico and began working as a lawyer in Brazil in 1998. He spent 21 years at a significant Brazilian firm associated with Baker McKenzie, where he was a partner until 2019. Jorge also worked as a foreign associate at Baker McKenzie’s Madrid office.

Since 2017, he has been the Legal Director of the Mexican Chamber in São Paulo. With a specialization in International Business Law from Escuela Libre de Derecho (Mexico), Jorge has advised national and international clients on corporate matters and complex M&A transactions, particularly in multi-jurisdictional projects.
