About
Talita Sabatini Garcia is responsible for intellectual property and related contracts, with a focus on the media, advertising, and entertainment sectors. She specializes in business contracts and intellectual property and is a professor in the Intellectual Property Specialization Program at Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUC – PR). Talita also serves as Vice Legal Director of the Brazilian Association of Brand and Character Licensing (ABRAL) and as a member of the Copyright, Entertainment, and Advertising Study Group within ASPI’s Cultural Directorate.
She is a co-author of the chapter “Puffing – A Legitimate Advertising Tool?” published in the book “Advertising Activity in Brazil” in 2021, the chapter “Self-Regulation Standards of the Sector” published in the book “Digital Influencers and Their Legal Challenges” in 2023, and the chapter “The Regulation of Child Influencer Activities in Brazil – Legal Challenges and Perspectives”, published in the book “Practical Guide to Digital Law” in 2025.
