About

Will Marshall serves as Counsel at Broadfield and as a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Tax in New York, where he leads A&M’s Global Trade and Customs practice. He advises clients on customs and international trade structuring, duty optimization, regulatory disputes and controversies, and high-stakes investigations.

With more than 25 years of international trade experience, Will has led international trade practices at major firms across the Asia-Pacific region and the United States. He spent nearly two decades based in Asia, giving him a practical understanding of cross-border supply chains, regional trade flows, and the commercial issues that shape global customs strategy.

Will’s work includes duty mitigation strategies such as origin planning, valuation, tariff engineering, and supply chain structuring. He also advises on trade remedies, including antidumping and countervailing duty investigations before the U.S. Department of Commerce and import injury investigations before the U.S. International Trade Commission.

Before joining A&M, Will led the trade remedies practice at the world’s largest boutique law firm specializing in customs and international trade. He represented clients in trade remedy investigations and enforcement actions involving antidumping, countervailing duty, and related import measures.

Will is admitted to the bar of the State of New York and is a Solicitor of the High Court of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. He speaks Mandarin and Cantonese conversationally.
