Now in its sixth year, the list recognizes the region’s standout disputes practitioners, selected based on strong client feedback highlighting their track records and expertise in handling complex disputes.
Jonathan is one of only six lawyers in Hong Kong to receive this recognition. His inclusion reflects his more than 20 years of experience advising clients on complex, cross-border disputes and investigations, as well as the significant impact of his work on high-stakes matters across the region.
Jonathan has been based in Asia for more than 17 years, advising clients in particular across the finance, fintech, and technology sectors. He has also advised a broad range of clients on more than 150 cyber incidents, as well as on the recovery of funds lost through cyber and other forms of fraud.
This recognition follows Jonathan’s inclusion in ALB’s Asia Super 50 TMT Lawyers 2026 list, announced earlier this year, highlighting the leading practitioners shaping the region’s rapidly evolving technology, media, and telecommunications sectors. Jonathan is the only lawyer to be named in both ALB’s Asia Super 50 TMT Lawyers and Asia Super 50 Disputes Lawyers 2026 at the same time.
