About

Ricardo Inglez de Souza’s practice focuses on competition law, compliance, and international trade. He has extensive experience advising national and multinational companies. He holds an LLM degree and is a PhD candidate in Law from Pontifical Catholic University in São Paulo (PUC-SP), and is the author of the book “The Dogma of Cartel and the Selectivity of Brazilian Competition Law.”

Ricardo has been highlighted in major national and global legal rankings, including Chambers and Partners, Latin Lawyer, Who’s Who Legal, LACCA, Best Lawyers, and Análise Advocacia. Global Competition Review (GCR), a leading industry publication, named him one of the top 40 competition lawyers under 40 worldwide.

He is the vice president of the Commission on Competition and Economic Regulation Studies of OAB-SP and a member of the Brazilian Institute of Competition, Consumption, and International Trade Studies (IBRAC). Ricardo is a professor of Commercial Law at Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado (FAAP) and the Catholic University of Chile, and a guest professor at several other educational institutions.
